The ground step-down transformer control cabinet steps down the single-phase AC 380V to a single 36V safe voltage. After passing the track, it is boosted to a single-phase AC 380V by the onboard step-up transformer. Power is supplied to the flat car with a DC traction motor.

However, the track construction requirements are high, and the track insulation must be ensured. When the track exceeds a certain running distance, the track should be compensated with a copper row. The number of step-down transformers must also be increased when the operating distance is long.
Application:
When transporting lathes, the main purpose of low-voltage electric transfer carts is to place heavy materials such as large lathes, and the general transportation route is straight. In special cases, the flat cars can realize turning, lifting, and translation functions as needed.
In the warehousing and transshipment industry, the main purpose of the low-voltage electric transfer carts is to solve the product and cargo transportation and handling work between the spans of the workshop, which is suitable for the uninterrupted work of the production line, which is convenient and quick to operate and simple to operate.
Note
The track power supply series low-voltage electric transfer carts are not suitable for spray booths, dust workshops, smelting workshops, etc. due to the rail-on power supply and leakage outside the track. The medium of paint, iron filings, molten steel, and other materials will affect the conductivity of the trolley. Power take-off performance is even unsafe. Also not suitable for the outdoor open-air environment, rain and snow weather, water accumulation between the rails is likely to cause short-circuit of the trolley.
